Baseline ROM values

Here’s a list of target joints and their corresponding normal ranges of motion:

  1. Shoulder:
    • Flexion: 180 degrees
    • Extension: 60 degrees
    • Abduction: 180 degrees
    • Adduction: 50 degrees
    • Internal Rotation: 90 degrees
    • External Rotation: 90 degrees
  2. Hips:
    • Flexion: 120-135 degrees
    • Extension: 10-30 degrees
    • Abduction: 30-50 degrees
    • Adduction: 30-50 degrees
    • Internal Rotation: 35-45 degrees
    • External Rotation: 40-60 degrees
  3. Knees:
    • Flexion: 135-155 degrees
    • Extension: 0 degrees (full extension)
  4. Ankles:
    • Dorsiflexion: 10-20 degrees
    • Plantar Flexion: 45-50 degrees
    • Inversion: 30-40 degrees
    • Eversion: 20 degrees
  5. Spine:
    • Flexion: 80-90 degrees
    • Extension: 20-30 degrees
    • Lateral Flexion: 35-45 degrees
    • Rotation: 45-55 degrees
